At 3:00 PM today, emergency services received a report that an 88-year-old woman living in an apartment on the first floor of a four-story building on Ivana Franka Street in Lviv was not responding to calls.
Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene. Using an extension ladder and hand tools, they opened a window to allow police officers to enter the apartment. Inside, the woman was found lying on the floor, conscious but in need of immediate medical attention.
Paramedics provided first aid, and rescuers transported her to the ambulance using a stretcher. The elderly woman was then hospitalized at St. Luke’s Hospital for further care.
