19 people hospitalized after explosions in Lviv, three in critical condition

In Lviv, after the explosions, 19 people were hospitalized: three are in critical condition.

As a result of the explosions in Lviv, 19 patients were delivered to the hospitals of the First Medical Association by emergency medical service ambulances as of 11:00. Five of them were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, and another 15 to St. Panteleimon’s Hospital. Three people are in serious condition. Two ambulances and a group of police officers are standing next to them on the street at night. The area is cordoned off, and medics and law enforcement officers are working at the scene.

According to Oleh Samchuk, director of the First Medical Association of Lviv, all the victims were provided with the necessary medical care in the emergency departments. Information on the number of victims is constantly updated, as not everyone sought medical help immediately.

*Three patients in critically severe condition were urgently taken to the operating room for surgical interventions. They are currently in the intensive care unit and connected to ventilators. Another three patients in severe but stable condition have been hospitalized in specialized departments. The other 7 victims were discharged for outpatient treatment after examination as there is no threat to their lives.*

– said Olga Pidtsierkovna, an emergency doctor at St. Panteleimon’s Hospital.

Medical teams continue to work, to save lives and stabilize the state of all the injured.
