
In Lviv, from the 22nd to the 24th of May, a high fire danger is forecast, as reported by the Lviv Regional Hydrometeorological Centre. Citizens are urged to take note of this forecast and be cautious regarding fire safety.
The Department of Civil Protection and Territorial Defence reminds that unauthorised burning of vegetation, prohibited in Ukraine, is punishable by a fine. The fines range from 3,060 to 6,120 UAH, and for officials, from 15,300 to 21,420 UAH. Within nature reserves, fines reach from 6,120 to 12,240 UAH.
Additionally, during martial law, such actions may be considered sabotage, which is subject to criminal liability. Citizens are reminded to call “101” or “102” if they observe any fires or arsonists.
