The violator had to issue certificates that the conscript had a fictitious illness and, in the future, help obtain a disability group.
On January 9, operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations in Lviv Oblast and investigators of the National Security Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast exposed a family doctor while receiving part of an illegal benefit – $1,500. Previously, the suspect handed over medical records with a fictitious illness to the man.
In general, for $1,500, the doctor promised the petitioner to help him obtain a disability group based on the results of passing the military medical board.
Currently, the doctor has been notified of the suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of selecting a preventive measure is being resolved.
Investigations were carried out jointly with the Department of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
