Thanks to the grant support of UNDP Ukraine / UNDP in Ukraine, a 450 sq.m. production facility was installed on the territory of the First Medical Association of Lviv to accommodate relocated companies that manufacture prostheses and for a municipal workshop for the production of prostheses.
In particular, there are separate rooms for relocated enterprises and a common prosthetics workshop, where equipment for lamination and carbonization of prostheses will be installed. The technical task of the building and the internal arrangement of the equipment were developed together with the world’s leading companies for the production of prostheses, Esper Bionics and Ottobock.
The Investments and Projects Department of the Lviv City Council notes that the city, together with the UNDP, is working on a provision, according to which enterprises will be chosen, which will be located in this center on preferential terms in the future. Preliminarily, preferential rent is provided for a period of 2 years.
By the way, the grant support of the UN Development Program is UAH 5.5 million.
