On 10 May, Lviv hosted the first regional competition in Ukraine among teams of young rescuers and firefighters in Lviv Oblast.
More than 80 young rescuers aged 13 to 16 took part in the sporting event. In total, there were 8 teams from each district of Lviv region and one team from the city of Lviv.
The competition was a real challenge for the boys and girls, as they had to show exceptional creativity when presenting their team, demonstrate skilful use of rescue equipment, show speed and dexterity during the relay race, and demonstrate their erudition by answering quiz questions.
All stages of the competition required not only good physical fitness but also teamwork. The ability to work together as a team is an extremely difficult task, as everything depends on team spirit.
As a result of the intense competition, the winners were determined:
- 1st place – 220V team (Stryi district);
- 2nd place – AGENTS 101 team (Lviv district);
- 3rd place – team “Fighters for Life” (Sambir district).
