On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an action was held in Lviv in support of Ukrainian defenders who are in Russian captivity or have gone missing. During the day, trams in the city ran with the flags of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo.
And on the digital boards of the “Electron” trams, next to the information about the route, the slogan “burned”: “Come back! They are waiting for you at home!”.
Among the soldiers currently in Russian captivity is a Lviv tram driver, father of 3 children. The man only managed to work for 7 months at Lviv Electrotrans LLC. “In addition, he was studying, and even then he showed himself to be very responsible and attentive. A positive person with a great sense of humor,” recalls Olya Hlebova, his mentor from Lviv Electrotrans LLC.
Currently, there are more than fifty employees of Lviv Electrotrans LLP in the ranks of the Armed Forces, two of them were killed, one was captured, and several were injured.
“Thank you to those who are defending us now. We wish all the injured a speedy recovery. We miss those who are no longer there, we sympathize with the loss of relatives. Everyone remembers the living and already heavenly Heroes of the Armed Forces. But there are still others, those who are in captivity or listed as “missing”. Our electric run was for you, for your relatives… We believe that even through the darkness of uncertainty and the darkness of hopelessness, you will hear us: “COME BACK! WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU AT HOME!”, – noted LKP “Lvivelectrotrans”.
