In Lviv, from 15 June, the number of buses on some city routes will be reduced due to the seasonal decrease in passenger numbers during the holiday period and summer school break. This was reported by LK ATP No. 1.
The company is planning to reduce the number of vehicles in service on the routes by 5.7%, that is by 14 buses from the total daily output. LK ATP No. 1 explains that this will make it possible to carry out repair and preventive works, technical maintenance of the fleet and prepare the buses for the autumn operating period.
On weekdays from 15 June, the number of buses will be reduced as follows:
- by one vehicle on routes No. 1A, No. 3A, No. 9, No. 16, No. 18, No. 20, No. 32, No. 37, No. 40, No. 46, No. 47A and No. 52;
- by two vehicles on route No. 92.
At weekends (Sundays), there will be two fewer vehicles in service on each of routes No. 9 and No. 18.
LK ATP No. 1 asks residents and visitors of Lviv to take these changes into account when planning their journeys, as headways on certain routes may increase slightly.
