In Lviv, on Naukovyi Street, a car fire occurred.
On May 25 at 17:04, Lviv rescuers received information about a car fire. When firefighters arrived at the scene, the fire had already engulfed part of the Opel Astra interior. The situation was escalating as the flames could spread to a nearby parked car.
It turned out that before the firefighters arrived, the driver tried to extinguish the fire with a fire extinguisher on their own. However, the fire was brought under control only after the rescuers arrived. The firefighters swiftly localized the fire, and by 17:23 the fire was extinguished.
10 firefighters and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Experts are currently investigating the causes of the fire.
