Goods of different brands through the “green corridor”: almost UAH 1 million worth of brands found at the border with Poland
A driver, a citizen of Ukraine, tried to import from Germany goods of various brands worth an estimated UAH 1 million.
At the Krakivets checkpoint in Lviv region, border guards and Lviv customs officers, based on preliminary information from the operational and search department of the 7th Border Guard Carpathian Detachment, found unused clothes, shoes and bags of various brands in a minibus of a Mercedes. The items were placed in plastic bags and boxes. The man chose the “green corridor” lane for customs control, which proved that he was not moving goods subject to declaration and taxation.
Customs officers seized more than 200 pairs of shoes, the same amount of clothes and a bag, and drew up a report on violation of customs rules.
