During the night of January 26, at 12:08 AM, rescuers received a report of a fire in a wooden house with an attic in the village of Velyka Sushytsia, Sambir District.
The fire had engulfed the roof of the residential building, covering an area of 120 square meters. Before firefighters arrived, local residents attempted to extinguish the flames on their own. However, the blaze was fully contained only after emergency responders intervened, successfully extinguishing it by 2:07 AM.
Firefighting efforts involved units from Dobromyl, Staryi Sambir, and the local fire team from Skelivka. A total of 11 firefighters and 3 specialized vehicles were engaged in the operation.
