On December 10, at 1:19 PM, the emergency hotline “101” received a report about a fire in Sambir city on Vitovskyi Street, Sambir district.
The fire broke out in a two-story brick residential house with a metal roof, measuring 20×10 meters.
Firefighters from the 12th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Sambir responded immediately to the scene.
Due to heavy smoke, the firefighters had to work in specialized breathing and vision protection gear. Thanks to their swift actions, the fire was localized at 1:52 PM and completely extinguished by 1:59 PM. The fire damaged household items over an area of 15 square meters.
Nine firefighters and two specialized vehicles were involved in extinguishing the fire.
