Recently in the village of Huta, located in the Sheptytskyi district, an ancient artillery shell was discovered during land work. This dangerous war relic, measuring 88 mm, had been buried underground for about 80 years and was located only eight meters from a residential building.
Since the discovery, appropriate steps have been taken to ensure safety and proper disposal of the shell. Locals have been increasingly encountering such “relics” from the past, which remind them of the military history of the region.
In the event of discovering suspicious objects, it is important not to take any risks, stay calm, move to a safe distance, and immediately contact the Rescue Service at “101” to report the find.
