
On August 30, a fire broke out in the village of Kulychkiv, Sheptytsky district, engulfing a residential building, an outbuilding, and a garage.
At 04:53, a report about the fire was received by the Rescue Service. Firefighters from the towns of Velyki Mosty, Sosnivka, and Sheptytsky were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the fire had already consumed the residential building, a brick-and-wood outbuilding, and a brick garage. There was a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring structures.
By 06:29, the fire was localized, and by 07:17, it was extinguished. Firefighters managed to save the garage from complete destruction and prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings. A total of 12 rescuers and 3 units of specialized equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
The causes and circumstances of the fire are under investigation.
