It was opened at the Training and Sports Base of the Olympic Training in Alpine Skiing.
In the urban-type village of Slavske, the first matches took place on the sports ground with artificial grass, located at the Training and Sports Base of the Olympic Training in Alpine Skiing.
The facility was built at the expense of the Lviv regional organization of the Dynamo FC of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the educational and sports base in Slavsky has received more than 500 internally displaced persons, 600 child athletes from Kyiv have been rehabilitated here. Special rehabilitation courses for National Guardsmen are also held here.
“In the first months of a full-scale war, we saw that sports facilities can perform much more than just training bases. And it is very important that they have the proper internal infrastructure – pitches for playing mini-football, pitches with exercise equipment, etc. Most of the large sports bases of the region already have this, it is good that the Slavska base also joins them,” says the head of the youth and sports department of Lviv OVA Roman Khimyak.
We will remind, at the beginning of November, a sports ground with an artificial surface was also opened in the village of Polonychna of the Dobrotvir community. The site was built and equipped at the expense of local and regional budgets.
