On March 24 at 03:21 the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in the village. Volytsia of Chervonohrad district.
The fire broke out in a one-storey wooden residential building, measuring 5×10 m. Firefighters from Sokal, Chervonohrad and Sosnivka went to the scene. At the time of firefighters’ arrival at the scene, the house was completely engulfed in flames.
At 04:04 firefighters localized the fire, and at 04:42 they put it out. At the scene of the fire, firefighters found the body of the dead man. The owner of the house, a man born in 1939, was killed. As a result of the fire, the fire completely destroyed the house.
The fire was extinguished by 13 personnel and 3 units of special equipment.
The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established by law enforcement agencies.
