A Support Center for people who lost their homes was opened in Vynnyky

In Vynnyky, the building of the Center for Support of People Who Lost Their Homes of the public organization “Emaus-Oselya” was consecrated. The construction of the center became possible thanks to the synergy of the authorities, civil society, the church, business and international partners.

The support center for people who lost their homes was built on city land on the initiative and thanks to the public organization “Emaus-Oselya”. The construction work was carried out by the company “Riel”, financed by the international community “Emaus” and other benefactors, the repair of the access road was carried out by the Lychakiv district administration at the expense of the Lviv community.

“It is very symbolic that Ukrainians, even during the war, strive to create and breathe new meaning and life even into abandoned buildings. Because to create, not to destroy, is our vital need, and this is obviously our key difference with the creatures from the north,” emphasized Yurii Lukashevsky, director of the urban agglomeration department.
