On 21 August, in the evening, it was reported that the body of a drowned man had been found in the local lake in the village of Shklo, Yavoriv district.
Rescuers in Novoyavorivsk used a boat and a rope to pull the body of a 58-year-old man to the shore and handed him over to police officers.
The circumstances of the tragedy will be investigated by law enforcement.
Many water-related deaths could have been avoided if holidaymakers had followed the safety rules.
– swim in places not designated by local authorities and not equipped for public swimming;
– swim alone;
– drink alcohol before and during swimming;
