The trains in question are Kolomyia – Lviv, Rakhiv – Lviv and Lviv – Chernivtsi.
Starting tomorrow, 12 July, the regional train 816/815 Kolomyia – Lviv will start its route on Fridays from Chernivtsi instead of Kolomyia. Departure is at 05:32, Kolomyia 06:44-06:54, Ivano-Frankivsk 07:43-07:55, arrival in Lviv at 10:07.
Starting from 15 July:
- regional train No. 816/815 Rakhiv – Lviv will also run on Mondays. Departure from Rakhiv at 03:48, Ivano-Frankivsk at 07:50-07:55, arrival in Lviv at 10:07. The train will pass through the stations of Yasinia, Lazeshchyna, Vorokhta, Tatariv-Bukovel, Yaremche, Nadvirna and other tourist towns.
- additional regional train No. 818/817 Lviv – Chernivtsi will run on Mondays. Departures from Lviv are at 15:22, Ivano-Frankivsk at 17:34-17:42, Kolomyia at 18:35-18:37, and Chernivtsi at 19:53.
“In order to ease the load on the power grid, Ukrzaliznytsia has reduced electricity consumption by revising the schedule of some suburban electric trains. At the same time, the temporary forced changes did not affect critical flights, and the railway workers are making every effort to maintain the existing railway connection between all settlements,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the road transport department at Lviv Regional State Administration.
