On December 30, at 12:15, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the village of Hrushiv on St. Chapovsky, 8, Drohobytskyi district in a “Volga” passenger car.
Firefighters from the local fire brigade of Medenichi and the fire department of Drohobych were sent to the scene.
As it turned out, the car was parked in the yard. Arriving at the scene of the fire, the entire car was on fire, and the rescuers wasted no time in extinguishing the fire. At 12:48 the fire was localized and at 12:52 it was extinguished. As a result of the fire, the car was completely destroyed.
7 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
On the same day, at 9:06 p.m., rescuers received a report about a fire in a “LAND ROVER” car located on the road near the village of Tarasivka, Lviv district.
Another fire department of the city of Vinnyki was dispatched to the scene of the incident.
As it turned out, the driver of the car, while driving, saw smoke coming out from under the hood of the car. Before the arrival of firefighters, the driver himself and other non-indifferent drivers tried to extinguish the fire with the help of fire extinguishers.
Arriving at the scene, firefighters immediately began to extinguish the fire. At 21:26 the fire was localized and at 21:33 it was eliminated. As a result of the fire, the engine compartment of the car on an area of 2 square meters was damaged by fire.
5 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. As a result of these events, no one was injured. The causes and circumstances of the fires are being established.
