The fountain near the Opera House will not work on Thursday: preventive maintenance will be carried out
According to the Galician district administration, the dry fountain on Svobody Avenue, near the Opera House, will not work on Thursday, 4 July. The fountain will be shut down for preventive maintenance. The work will last throughout the day, and the fountain will reopen on Friday, 5 July.
“On Thursday, 4 July, we are shutting down the fountain near the Opera House for preventive maintenance, which will last all day.
This dry fountain is open daily from 08:00 to 22:00. However, when there is a power outage, the fountain does not work.
Two weeks ago, the fountain was shut down for maintenance work on its electronic system. Now we are going to clean the nozzles and inspect the main equipment,” explained the Galician district administration.
By the way, there are 21 fountains in Lviv this year: 12 drinking and 9 decorative. Every month, the decorative fountains are turned off for maintenance.
