Night fire in Maly Gribovychi: firefighters saved a country house
On 25 December at 02:38, the Rescue Service received a report of a fire on the territory of a cottage cooperative in the village of Mali Hrybovychi, Lviv district. The fire broke out in a single-storey brick house with an attic – the roof was burning on an area of about 10 square metres.
Due to heavy smoke, rescuers worked in respiratory and eye protection equipment. Thanks to coordinated and prompt actions, the fire was localised at 03:17 and extinguished at 04:02.
Eight rescuers and two pieces of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident. Experts are investigating the causes and circumstances of the fire.
