On December 31, at 05:41, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Przemyślany on the street Ivan Franko, 32, Lviv district. The fire started in one of the rooms of the brick summer kitchen, measuring 6×10 m.
Firefighters from the city of Peremyshlyany and the operative group of the Lviv district administration went to the scene of the incident.
At the time of the arrival of the fire and rescue unit, the fire spread quickly, the room in which the fire was located was completely engulfed in flames, and thick black smoke was pouring out of the windows of the building. The fire caused heavy smoke, due to which the rescuers worked in respiratory protection devices. The complexity of the fire consisted in the threat of the fire spreading to a nearby residential building.
However, thanks to the coordinated and professional actions of the firefighters, it was possible to quickly localize the fire and prevent further spread of the fire.
The fire was localized at 06:07 and extinguished at 06:14 as part of the gas and smoke protection service. As a result of the fire, household items on an area of 30 sq.m., 2 metal-plastic windows, walls on an area of 70 sq.m., and 2 wooden doors were destroyed by fire. Household items on an area of 20 square meters, walls on an area of 2 square meters, and a wooden door were also damaged.
5 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident. The causes and circumstances of the fire are being established.
