At the “Krakivets–Korczowa” checkpoint, customs officers detected an illegal batch of gadgets valued at 600 thousand hryvnias.
On June 8, a MERCEDES-BENZ vehicle driven by a 39-year-old resident of Bukovina arrived at the checkpoint. The driver chose the “green corridor” lane for customs inspection. During the vehicle inspection, 52 gadgets and accessories were found in the luggage compartment.
Among the detected items were iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets, Apple Watch, Xiaomi Smart Band, HUAWEI WATCH smartwatches, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, iPhone, Xiaomi phones, as well as AirPods, JBL, BOSE headphones. Additionally, computer mice, keyboards, web cameras, video cards, processors, hard drives, etc., were found.
A protocol on customs rules violation has been drawn up according to Part 2 of Article 471 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
