In the village of Shumyach in the Sambir District, a fire broke out in a wooden garage covered with slate, measuring 7 by 4 meters. The emergency call to the Rescue Service "101" was made on February 2 at 11:59.
Rescue teams from the city of Turka and firefighters from the village of Limna promptly arrived at the scene. Upon their arrival, the garage was fully engulfed in flames, and the interior contained a Ford Focus car, increasing the risks of the fire spreading to nearby buildings.
However, thanks to the swift actions of the rescuers and firefighters, the fire was localized by 12:21 and completely extinguished by 12:38. Emergency responders and local firefighters managed to protect a residential house and two outbuildings in the immediate area from the fire.
Three rescuers and one vehicle from the State Emergency Service were engaged in extinguishing the fire, along with two firefighters from the local area who also used one piece of special equipment.
