Tragedy in Neznaniv: The Danger of Burning Dry Grass
On February 27th in the village of Neznaniv, Sheptytskyi district, the body of a 72-year-old woman was found among the burnt grass. Relatives froze when they went out into the yard because where the grandmother walked just yesterday, only ashes remained. We do not know the details of the tragedy, but we know for sure: the fire took her life.
The Danger of Burning Dry Grass
This tragedy once again proves: uncontrolled burning of dry grass is not just harmful to nature, it is a real threat to life. Fire does not distinguish whether it is grass or a human life. It spreads rapidly, leaving behind only pain and ashes.
Victim Statistics
Every year in Ukraine, dozens of people die in similar fires. Some try to extinguish the flames on their own, some fail to escape in time, and some fall victim to their own carelessness. And all this is because of the destructive habit of burning leftover dry grass.
Do not burn dry grass! One spark and you can lose the most precious thing. How many more victims are needed for people to understand: fire does not forgive?
