In Sokal, rescuers provided access to a local resident’s apartment

Rescuers helped residents of Sokal and Lviv who needed medical assistance

On 26 June, at 11:20 a.m., rescuers received a report that in Sokal, on Tartakivska Street, Chervonohrad District, on the second floor of a three-storey residential building, the owner of the apartment, born in 1951, could not open the door on her own.

The fire and rescue department of the 22nd State Fire and Rescue Unit of Sokal provided access to police officers and medics to enter the apartment where the owner was staying and was hospitalised.

On the same day, at 21:03, rescuers received a report from a patrol police officer that in Lviv, on Shafaryk Street, on the tenth floor of a fourteen-storey residential building, the owner of an apartment born in 1944 could not open the door on her own and asked for help.

The fire and rescue department of the 29th State Fire and Rescue Unit used a hand tool to provide police officers and medics with access to the apartment where the owner was in need of medical assistance.
