On 26 June at 17:26, rescuers received a report of a fire in an apartment on the fifth floor. The fire occurred in the city of Stryi on Kossak Street.
Fire and rescue units of the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit of Stryi were sent to the scene.
When the firefighters arrived, flames were pouring out of the apartment. The rescuers used rescue devices to take 2 adults, a child and a dog out into the fresh air.
As a result of the incident, one man was injured and hospitalised.
At 18:02, the fire was contained and extinguished at 18:18 by the emergency services.
A total of 14 rescuers and 3 units of special equipment were engaged in the firefighting operations.
Law enforcement agencies are establishing the cause of the fire.
