On May 9, at 7:47 a.m., the 101st Rescue Service received a report of smoke in an apartment on the third floor of 41 Svobody Ave. in Lviv.
Rescuers from Lviv were sent to the scene.
At the time of the firefighters’ arrival at the scene, the stairwell was filled with smoke. Firefighters joined the special apparatus for respiratory and visual protection and began work to eliminate the fire and rescue people.
Firefighters took out 3 residents of the house. Rescuers also took out a dog on fire.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of firefighters, it was possible to prevent further spread of fire.
The fire was localized at 08:00 and extinguished at 08:03 as part of 2 units of the gas and smoke protection service.
The fire destroyed electric cars on the area of 10 square meters, damaged the stairwell on the area of 80 square meters. and walls on the area of 100 sq.m.
19 personnel and 3 units of special equipment were involved in the fire.
