On 3 December, at 19:45, rescuers received a report of a fire in a brick residential building in the village of Zymna Voda on Luhova Street.
This was reported to the Holos Soklaschyny by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Lviv Region.
Firefighters from the Lviv region were sent to the scene. Upon arrival, they saw that the building was partially engulfed in flames. The rescuers, using respiratory and visual protection equipment, promptly began to extinguish the fire and search for people in the building.
They managed to get a man out of the burning building. The rescuers immediately began resuscitation, tried to save him for a long time, and later were joined by doctors. Despite all efforts, unfortunately, they failed to save the man born in 1969.
Rescuers localised the fire at 20:26 and extinguished it at 20:31, stopping the fire from spreading and saving the house from complete destruction.
