According to the Department of Housing and Infrastructure of the LMR, 46 units of snow removal equipment were working in the city at night and this morning. During the day, communal services will continue cleaning the city – cleaners and cleaning equipment will work.
“At night, 46 units of equipment left for cleaning the city from snowfall. There were 29 sand throwers, 12 tractors, 5 loaders and 1 grader at work. Traditionally, bridges, intersections, and major thoroughfares were sprinkled. 174 m3 of sand mixture and 40 tons of salt were used for sprinkling the streets.
Snow removal equipment will continue to work during the day. The streets will be detoured and, if necessary, cleared or sprinkled with anti-icing materials,” the Department of Housing and Infrastructure said.
