The tram driver who fainted at the “Stary Rynok” stop on Saturday, January 28, underwent surgery and is under the supervision of doctors. This was reported at Lviv Electrotrans LLC.
The utility company thanked the passengers who provided first aid to the driver and called an ambulance.
“On the video from the tram cabin, it was recorded that at 12:46 the driver stopped at the Stary Rynok stop, located on the street. Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, opened the door. Concerned passengers noticed that she fainted. Noticing that the tram did not continue moving, they opened the cabin door, began to provide assistance to the woman, and called an ambulance,” Lviv Electrotrans said.
When reviewing the log of pre-trip medical examinations, the employees of the traffic safety service of Lviv Electrotrans LLP established that the driver had no health complaints this morning, all medical indicators were normal.
Today, the driver is in St. Panteleimon Hospital of the First Medical Association of Lviv.
