On April 5, at 01:58, the rescuers received a report about a fire in the city of Skole on the street. Knyazya Svyatoslav, 14 Stryi district in an abandoned wooden building with an attic covered with slate, size 10×16 m.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was engulfed in flames. There was a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring residential buildings.
Also, the difficulty of extinguishing was that the fire quickly spread through wooden structures.
At 05:22 the fire was localized and at 06:10 it was extinguished by the gas and smoke protection service unit.
The fire destroyed the roof and ceiling on an area of 160 sq.m., walls on an area of 200 sq.m., and damaged walls on an area of 100 sq.m.
Saved: 3 buildings. 10 personnel and 2 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
No one was injured as a result of the fire. The reasons and circumstances of the event are being investigated by law enforcement agencies.
