During the shift from June 20 to June 21, rescuers in the Lviv region extinguished fires in residential buildings twice.
Specifically, on June 20 at 16:08, the Rescue Service “101” received a report of a fire in Chyshky village, Zolochiv district. The fire broke out in a single-story brick residential building. Firefighters from Olesko arrived at the scene and at 16:56 localized the fire, fully extinguishing it by 17:21 on an area of 60 square meters, saving two nearby buildings from the flames.
Furthermore, on June 21 at 01:53, rescuers received a report about a fire in a two-story brick residential building in Zavadiv village, Stryi district. Firefighters from Stryi and Morshyn arrived at the scene. Upon their arrival, the roof of the building was completely engulfed in flames. The fire was localized at 02:44 and fully extinguished by 03:02.
The causes and circumstances of the fires are being investigated. There were no injuries as a result of the fires.
