During the day, Lviv region rescuers extinguished 17 fires of various types, including 12 ecosystem fires.
The Lviv region rescuers, during their duty shift from August 18th to 19th, extinguished 17 fires of different types in the region. Notably, they extinguished 12 fires of dry grass and stubble, with an area covering 3,000 sq.m.
In this regard, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv Region emphasizes once again: dear citizens, protect your life, the lives of your families, and your homes from fires.
Remember: it is easier to prevent fires than to extinguish them!
We also remind you that setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law with fines: for citizens from 3,060 UAH to 6,120 UAH, for officials from 15,300 UAH to 21,420 UAH.
