In Stryi, firefighters saved a car from being destroyed by flames.
On February 13 at 15:15, the Rescue Service received a report of smoke coming from a parked Ford Focus on Yuri Lypy Street. Smoke was coming from under the hood.
By the time the fire-rescue units arrived, the car’s interior was already filled with smoke. The fire’s source was inside — electrical wiring elements were burning. Firefighters disconnected the battery and extinguished the fire within minutes.
Nine rescuers and two units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
