On November 27, a fire occurred in the village of Pozdymyr, Sheptytskyi district, which was extinguished thanks to the prompt actions of the rescuers.
At 05:49, the Rescue Service ‘101’ received a report about a residential building catching fire. Rescuers from the cities of Sheptytskyi, Sokal, and Sosnivka went to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered that the roof of a one-story wooden house and the attached summer kitchen were on fire.
As a result of the fire, the homeowner, a man born in 1972, suffered burns to his hand and face. At 07:15, firefighters localized the fire, and by 07:43 they completely extinguished it, saving the house and kitchen from complete destruction.
12 rescuers and 3 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The causes and circumstances of the fire are currently being investigated.
