On June 22, at 04:14, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in Velyki Mosty on the street. Hrushevsky Chervonograd district. The fire started in a brick one-story utility building, 12×5 m in size.
Fire and rescue units from Velyki Mosty and Sosnivka were dispatched to the scene.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was completely engulfed in flames. There was a threat of the flames spreading to a nearby residential building and a neighboring farm building.
Therefore, the firefighters immediately began work on extinguishing the fire. At 04:50, firefighters localized the fire, and at 05:04 it was extinguished. The fire destroyed the ceiling on an area of 15 square meters, household items on an area of 15 square meters. The roof on an area of 60 sq.m., ceiling lining on an area of 15 sq.m., a wooden window and 0.5 tons of hay were also damaged.
Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the firefighters, it was possible to prevent the spread of the fire and to save the nearby buildings from the fire.
