On April 8, 2023, the Lviv Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, with the support of the Department of Youth and Sports and the Department of Health, is implementing the All-Ukrainian campaign “Healthy Walk” in the park named after Ivan Franko (11-13 Solomia Krushelnytska St.).
As part of the event, Nordic walking classes will be held together with an instructor in the park along a special route from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In order to take part in the walk, you need to register via the link https://forms.gle/ZkHmHaYPMncfi3zH7.
Registered participants will receive Nordic walking gear and headphones to listen to music and interesting health information for 20 minutes, as well as a gift at the end of the walk.
Additionally, we would like to inform you that there will be a medical zone in the park, where participants will be able to measure blood pressure, check blood sugar levels, consult with a family doctor and an infectious disease specialist. Anyone interested will be able to determine their body mass index and receive advice on healthy eating. There will also be an opportunity to take a quick test for viral hepatitis and get vaccinated against COVID-19. And all those willing will receive useful information about how to properly brush their teeth, wash their hands and generally take care of their health.
