In particular, children from Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions came to Yavoriv region. 9 children – Pupils of DBST, 16 – children – orphans, 16 difficult life circumstances, 2- children without parents, 68- children deprived of parental care. The children received shelter in Yavorivska, Sudovyshnyanska and Shehynivska communities.
The district’s children’s services help children with food, things and everything they need. We work together to support children and take care of their safety.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the war, more than 1,000 orphans and children deprived of parental care have been resettled in the Lviv region, of which almost 300 orphans have been sent abroad for treatment.
The region’s health care facilities provided inpatient care to 10,000 internally displaced persons, 3,000 of whom were children.
In addition, the Lviv Regional Military Administration and the Humanitarian Aid & Rescue Project (HARP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding. According to him, HARP will help evacuate children and vulnerable groups from dangerous places to safe shelters.
