Update on eQueue System Registration for Drivers

Starting September 10, updates to the registration process in the eQueue system for drivers will be implemented.

From now on, there is no need to submit an application to the module “18-60” (known as “Shlyakh”). From 8:00 on September 10, the eQueue system will operate as a single window. This means that carriers or drivers will fill in the data once during the reservation of a spot in the online queue for crossing the border.

Driver data will be verified by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine based on the eQueue. The eQueue system, in turn, will verify all data with the carrier’s licensing case available in the Unified Complex of Information Systems of Ukrtransbezpeka (EKIS).

Only those drivers are allowed to travel who:

  • are listed in the electronic cabinet of the carrier in EKIS Ukrtransbezpeka;
  • have current passport data that matches the foreign passport;
  • use the exact foreign passport entered in the eQueue and EKIS Ukrtransbezpeka.

What should carriers pay attention to?

  • Check the accuracy and current data of drivers in EKIS;
  • In case of a driver’s dismissal – be sure to check if they have an active queue in the eQueue;
  • If they do – first replace the driver in the eQueue and then set their dismissal date in EKIS.

This decision is part of the update of digital services, which simplifies logistics and reduces the bureaucratic burden on businesses.

Carriers can learn more about the decision and technical implementation aspects during a meeting on September 9 at 11:00. The meeting can be joined via the link: http://bit.ly/46ysngf

The “Electronic Border Crossing Queue” project is implemented by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ukrtransbezpeka, the State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, with the support of the EU Support for Ukraine project: enhancing integrated border management and solidarity routes, executed by the IOM Ukraine Mission with EU funding, and the “Digitization for Growth, Integrity, and Transparency” – UK DIGIT project, implemented by the Eurasia Foundation with UK Dev funding.
