Tomorrow, trolleybuses No. 33 will temporarily run on a shortened route: a charity bike ride will take place in Lviv
In connection with the charity bike ride, on Sunday, 9 June, from 8:30 to 14:00, trolleybuses No. 33 will run on a shortened route. In particular, the trolleybuses will temporarily run from Hrinchenka Street to Forum Lviv shopping centre and back. The rest of the public transport will run unchanged. This was reported by the Lviv City Council’s transport department.
“There will be occasional traffic closures along the route. Therefore, there may be slight delays in traffic during the run. Accordingly, transport may run at slightly longer intervals. Therefore, we ask passengers to take this into account when planning their trips,” the Lviv City Council’s transport department said.
The seventh charity marathon “I Pedal to Keep Them Alive” will start at 10:30 a.m. with a walk in the city centre. Then, at 12:00, the participants of the bike ride will start their journey along the following route: Svobody Avenue (Opera House) – Chornovola Avenue – Lypynskoho Street to the intersection with Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street and back.
The bike ride is organised by the Zaporuka Charitable Foundation and Arsen Mirzoyan. The goal is to raise UAH 1 million for a specialised space at the Western Ukrainian Specialised Children’s Medical Centre in Lviv. You can buy a ticket here.
