Fourteen vocational and professional agricultural colleges, along with five training centers across Ukraine, have received modern farming equipment — including tractors, seeders, and cultivators — to enhance the training of future farmers.
The procurement of this machinery was made possible through collaboration between Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Economy, and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This support is part of the international project titled “Promoting Small-Scale Horticulture: Enhancing Inclusivity for Women Farmers.”
The program is designed to support the training and integration of the following groups:
- Women farmers,
- Veterans,
- Internally displaced persons,
- Beginner agrarians.
The initiative includes three training cycles, aimed at equipping participants with hands-on experience using modern agricultural machinery and supporting their transition into the farming sector.
This delivery of equipment marks a significant step in upgrading Ukraine’s agricultural education system and boosting the professional competitiveness of its future farmers.
