30 children with disabilities from the Stryi community receive humanitarian aid

30 children with disabilities from the Stryi community have received humanitarian parcels prepared by the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (Кanada-Ukraine Foundation, КУФ) in partnership with the Dzherelo Centre for Social Services. This was reported by Stryi City Council.

Social workers delivered the aid directly to the homes of families raising children with disabilities. The Stryi community was among the first five communities in Ukraine to join this initiative.

Each parcel was put together individually, taking into account the needs of each specific child. Families received hygiene and care products, as well as developmental and sensory materials, drawing projectors, educational games and other essential items.

For some families, hand blenders and power banks were additionally included in the sets to support them in the daily care of their children and to cover basic household needs.

Stryi City Council expressed its gratitude to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and the Dzherelo Centre for the support provided to families in the community.
