In the Lviv urban territorial community, applications are being accepted for a one-off financial grant for large families raising six or more children. The funds can be used for children’s holidays or health improvement.
According to the Department of Social Protection, families are eligible for this support if, at the time of application, they are raising 6 or more children under the age of 18, as well as children up to 23 years old if they are studying full-time in vocational or higher education institutions and do not have their own families. A mandatory requirement is that one of the parents or the guardian is registered within the Lviv community.
The grant is provided once a year and cannot be awarded to families that have already received another one-off financial grant from the city budget in the current year under existing municipal support programmes.
To arrange the payment, an application and a set of documents must be submitted, in particular:
- a certificate confirming registration of the place of residence (stay) within the Lviv urban territorial community. If up-to-date data are already available in the Register of the Lviv UTC, the social protection department will independently attach an extract from the Register;
- certificates from the place of study of children who are in full-time education;
- a certificate confirming that the father or mother has not received this grant at their place of registration (if the parents are registered at different addresses);
- a copy of the applicant’s passport;
- copies of children’s birth certificates;
- copies of passports of children aged 18 and over;
- other documents if required, depending on the family’s circumstances (including additional copies of passports, birth certificates, certificates of study, etc.).
Documents can be submitted to the social protection department at the place of registration:
- Zaliznychnyi Social Protection Department — 34 Ivana Vyhovskoho St;
