Parents of children with disabilities from the Mostyska community have gone on holiday to the Zhuravno Health and Rehabilitation Centre for Children in the Stryi district.
During their absence, the children will stay at the centre under the professional supervision of specialists as part of the temporary respite care social service. This format enables parents who care daily for children with disabilities to regain their strength and look after their own health and emotional wellbeing.
The community emphasises that supporting families raising children with disabilities is an important part of caring for residents and developing social services.
