Chervonograd Mining and Building College Receives Wind Stations and Equipment for Studying Renewable Energy Sources

Recently, the Chervonograd Professional Mining and Building College, as part of the activities of its Educational-Practical Center of Renewable Energy, received a significant addition to its equipment. The project titled ‘Fair Transformation of Coal Regions and Green Revival of Ukraine’s Energy Sector’ has been implemented with the support of GIZ Ukraine.

The new equipment includes a 5 kW wind station and two additional stations of 0.6 kW each, which are installed permanently for research on the installation and operation of wind power plants. These stations allow for practical lessons not only separately, but also in combination with solar stations, creating hybrid systems that enhance students’ understanding of the interaction of renewable energy sources.

Additionally, the center received modern laboratory stands for studying wind and hybrid wind-solar systems, as well as equipment for monitoring and controlling the quality of electrical energy.

This is complemented by previous deliveries, which included laptops, smart notebooks, interactive complexes, as well as solar panels and hybrid solar power stations with capacities of 3 kW and 15 kW.
