Denys Krasinskyi, a student at the Drohobych Science Lyceum named after Bohdan Lepkyi, secured first place in the III (final) stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in History. This stage was held in Rivne from 30th March to 3rd April. Young historians from Lviv region were among the winners with nine prize positions, the highest of which was Denys’s personal achievement.
The final stage of the competition brought the Lviv region team one first place, two second places, and six third places. We extend our congratulations to Denys for his excellent result, a consequence of long, fruitful work, and also gratitude to the mentor teacher Oksana Slyvinska for such preparation.
It is worth recalling that in 2025 the Drohobych community took first place among regions for student successes in comprehensive education institutions. Furthermore, at the regional stage of the olympiads, Drohobych students achieved 81 prize positions.
