According to the consolidated rating of higher education institutions of Ukraine in 2023, Ivan Franko Drohobytsk State Pedagogical University is ranked 3rd among the best educational institutions (1st place in 2022, 3rd place in 2021).

In the ranking of higher education institutions according to Scopus indicators among pedagogical universities, the university is on the second step for several years in a row. This year, according to the evaluation results of the State Education Quality Service, Drogobytsk Pedagogical University topped the list of higher education institutions with the lowest degree of risk of economic entities. The formation and publication of the list of higher education institutions by degrees of risk is intended to make it possible to pay attention to the factors that increase the risks of conducting educational activities, and to take measures to prevent the increase in the number of points according to the relevant criteria.
