Within this project, a sports space will be created for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities.
The public organization “Building Ukraine Together” launched BUR camps in order to build a joint path to positive changes in our country. “Burivtsi” restore destroyed houses and even whole houses destroyed by the occupiers. Also, they help create and equip youth centers and public spaces that involve local youth in building society.
Each BUR camp will focus on a specific area, including education, ecology, culture, youth work, restoration of damaged houses and much more.
In particular, this project will create a sports space for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities. It will be equipped with modern simulators and equipment aimed at improving the physical health and psycho-emotional state of people.
These camps have already become a place to unite energetic and dedicated citizens who seek to actively contribute to the improvement of life in their communities. If you live nearby, join to grow your region! Volunteers from other regions are also invited.
“We really need the help of volunteers who, together with us, will be able to help restore communities. Join us and make new friends among activists and those seeking refuge from war. We provide food, cultural and educational program and necessary materials. By joining us, young people will be able to:
– join the development of the community and take part in the restoration of space; – find new friends among local residents and immigrants;
– discover new areas thanks to our cultural and educational program;
– to expand the comfort zone and get to know yourself through the activities that are created,” the organization notes.
